Well, as the week comes to an end, it is time for me to give my thoughts of this week.
I have to say, I HATE SNOW!!! I may have lived in the midwest my whole life, but me and cold weather, especially snow, don’t mix. It really cuts into my running schedule and things I want to do. I need the 65 to 70 degree weather on a daily basis. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll run in the snow, and as a good friend of mine tells me, I’m in #Beastmode for running in the snow on the snow-covered trails.
What a week it has been. I’m blessed to have such great friends that support my habits, and push me to the edge, and then beyond. I’m blessed that people do at times read what I post or say on this website. I’m blessed to have such a supportive family. Even though life isn’t always great, it is pretty good right now.
I was able to review a great product this week by the folks and Ultimate Direction (@UDhydrates), and I look forward to continue using their products. I’ve been able to make some great contacts in the running industry, and look forward to blossoming those relationships.
As the weekend approaches, I’ve got a full slate ahead. Going to the Circus with the family, have baseball practice with my team, and on Sunday, I’m participating in my 1st trail race, a 5-Mile jaunt called the Frozen Toes Trail Race put on by Wild Hares Racing (@wildharesracing). I’m looking forward to it. Pretty hilly trail we’ll be running on.
I, as always, want to give a shout out to our sponsored runner @Dixonrunning. Great friend, and I look forward to being a part of his venture of 3 marathons in a 4 week span starting on September 23. He’ll be starting his venture with me as I endure the elation of completing my 1st marathon.
Until Monday, I wish all of you a great weekend. Be safe, and have fun running.
