Yesterday, I decided to change things up just a bit, and head inside for my speed workout. I’m glad I did. It was one of the best runs I’ve had in sometime, and it was a nice change of pace. I think I’ve found my program when it comes to my speed days. The treadmill is not too bad of an option for me to change things up and be able to alter my speed. Not necessarily ideal, but it might just work. Here is yesterday’s workout below:
I also continue to be more and more impressed with the @RKSworkout videos. These kettlebell routines are killer, and my body is feeling like it hasn’t in years, and I can definitely feel my strength increasing, and my running getting more consistent and stronger. These workouts are 30 minutes tops, and really get the blood flowing and the sweat dripping. The only thing I’m missing now is more kettlebells to add to my arsenal.
