It was so nice and refreshing last night, even in 90+ degree weather to pound some pavement. I felt really strong, and my form felt incredible. For me to keep up that pace for nearly 7 miles, consistent, was a nice feeling for me. Running on the trails with the G.O.A.T.Z. has helped all of that for sure. My form, my running strength, all of it!!!! If you are looking to get stronger as a runner, I highly suggest and recommend that you hit the off-road trails. This is great for injury prevention, and it is great to make you a stronger, more efficient runner on the roads. It has again, helped me, and I really felt that yesterday as I’ve been hitting the trails 1-2 times a week for that past 3 weeks. Great change in routine, and in my personal running. I’m sure it will help you too.
Today, I might try something new to get some extra miles in, and do a 45 minute run over my lunch hour. I’ve never done a lunchtime run before, but now is a great time to do so. If all goes well, I might add this to my daily routine as it fits my schedule.
