Well, the beginning of the end is near. My 1st marathon is only a few weeks away, and I guess what you call the “taper” period is upon us. I still feel like I need to get a few good long runs in prior to September 23, but know that just getting in quality miles and some speed work will probably suffice, and the continuation of the best non-running workout I know @RKSworkout will also help my conditioning. I know that when it is time to run, I’ll be set to go with the best supplement I’ve used to date to help me get through my runs @Synergenics Workout Mode. I’m serious when I tell you this, and it might sound repetitive, but this stuff really works.
Today, I have at least a 60 minute run scheduled, so I think I’ll go and try out my new trail shoes today for at least a 5 mile plus loop.
