Running4theMasses has been updated for 9.12.12. Something new for everyone!!!!
So, with each day, I am one step closer to my “Day of Reckoning” so to say. September 23rd will come really fast, and as I know I’ve prepared myself the best I can, in the back of my mind I’ll always wonder “HAVE I DONE ENOUGH”? I’m sure I have, my runs have been decent, I’ve actually gotten faster and stronger, but I don’t want to peter out to early and have nothing in the end, nor do I want to go out to slow and leave myself wondering, could I have really gone that much faster. The biggest thing for me right now is to get rid of all of this congestion in my sinuses and do all I can with these allergies that have been brutal. I really feel fine physically, just the constant congestion is starting to play havoc on my mental capacity of knowing things will be OK when it comes race day.
I once again took to the pavement yesterday for a nice run over my lunch hour, and I’ve considering doing a similar run again today. I still had a little pulling/cramping feeling in my right calf muscle, but it worked itself out a little when running. It was a little sore last night, but I’ll have it all taken care of by the 23rd. Today, I plan on picking up some new Nuun tablets so I am all set for the 23rd. I plan on having this with me as I run as it has been great so far with keeping my hydrated. Along with my Nuun, I’ll have my @Synergenics with me as well to get me through the race and over the hump of 26.2 miles. What a great product (I know they are going to get sick of me plugging it), but OH WELL, I speak the truth!!!!
On a downside of things, my Motoactv GPS is really fritzing out on me. I’ve reset it, reloaded, it, and it just seems to have a mind of its own right now. Just hoping my new Garmin 610 gets here next week to use during my marathon, and at least 1 run prior to that. Now, guess I’ll just have to use a bunch of phone apps to track my runs.
