Running4theMasses has been updated for 9.26.12. New information for all, and a little change of pace for training information, etc.
So, I’m a few days removed now from my 1st marathon, and I have to say that I’m feeling remarkable, just the lingering ache in my ankle (that is subsiding), and a little ache in my knee (that is also subsiding), everything else is pretty much back to normal.
It is now time for me to move to my next venture (good health allowing) by starting to prepare myself for the G.O.A.T.Z. 50K on October 28. This will be a completely different animal than the marathon, but I will also approach this in and entirely different way.
I’m hoping to find out today that all is good in the world, and I’ll be given the OK to partake in my normal running routine, and won’t have anything hindering my attempt to run a 50K trail race. Keep your fingers crossed. I know I will be.
I’ll keep everyone posted tomorrow with what the verdict will be for me given what I find out today.
