Running4theMasses has been updated for 10.1.12. Back from a nice weekend, and ready to get at it again.
So, this past weekend, I got myself back in the game after my marathon. My body feels great, with the exception of a little pain still in my ankle area; however, once out on a run, it loosens up. My 1st run since the marathon was on Saturday, in a completely new area I’ve never run in, and it was quite enjoyable. Nice scenery and all. It was just east of Papio South HS. I believe it was Walnut Creek Lake, and I found that there is some off-road trail there as well, but didn’t venture off the bike trail. Nice looking place to run. I felt real sluggish, and the legs felt pretty tired, even after taking a full week off from activities. Nonetheless, it still felt good to be running again.
On Sunday, I hit the trails again, and headed out for an off-road run. I felt a little sluggish at the start of my run, but then my @Synergenics kicked in, and my world of running felt back to normal. Things just started to set in, and out on the trail, was able to hit a pretty decent pace. Definitely much faster than I’ll be running in about 4 weeks.
This coming up week, I hope to get out to Cunningham again, and over the weekend, will be out at the Susan B. Komen event. Such a great cause.
